What we clean after your build
Six parts, always in the same order, in Quebec City and Lévis alike. The task-by-task detail is further down.
Floors
Hardwood, tile, vinyl or polished concrete: each surface gets its own product. Fine-filter vacuum first, then washing, and not a scratch on a floor that was just laid.
Windows and frames
Daylight shows every missed mark. Interior glass is washed and scraped with a blade where paint ran, and window tracks are emptied of their dust.
Cabinets and bathrooms
Kitchens and bathrooms pack the most new finishes per square foot. Drawers, shelves, backsplashes, faucets, shower, toilet and appliances: we open everything and clean everything.
Light residue
What the trades leave behind: masking tape, protective film, manufacturer labels, drips of glue or caulk, and small offcuts on the floor.
Ready for handover
We finish with a full walkthrough, checklist in hand. You get a space people can move into the same day, and your client's first impression is the right one.

The method
Why it takes a specialised clean
A post-construction clean is not an ordinary clean. Building work puts a large amount of drywall, plaster and saw dust into the air, and it settles everywhere: in window tracks, on door frames, inside cabinets and behind doors.
A dry broom or an ordinary cloth only moves it around. So we always work from the ceiling down, with fine-filter vacuums, so that dust falls on what has not been cleaned yet, never on what already has. The floors always come last.
New surfaces also need a light touch: each material gets its own product and tool, so marks come off without scratching the tile, wood or fixtures that were just installed.

Order matters: we always work from the ceiling down, and the floors are always last.
Light residue
We start by removing everything left on the floors and surfaces, so the cleaning begins from a clean base.

How long does a post-construction clean take?
It depends on the size and the condition of the site. With a few photos, the square footage and the type of work, we give you an estimated duration along with the quote, within 24 hours.
Do you remove construction debris?
We take care of light residue: dust, small installation leftovers, tape, protective film and stickers. Removal of heavy debris (drywall, timber or tile offcuts, surplus materials, dumpsters) is best planned before we arrive. The contractor usually has it arranged already, and we schedule our visit right after.
Do you handle renovations as well as new builds?
Yes. A redone kitchen creates as much fine dust as a new house, just in less space. We come in after a single-room renovation just as readily as for the handover of a new condo or a refitted commercial unit, in Quebec City, Lévis and on the South Shore.
I am a contractor, how does working together go?
Simply: you give us the handover date and an on-site contact, and we handle the rest. We can slot in between two trades if your schedule needs it, and you get photos of any damage found before the keys are handed over.
Can you come just before the keys are handed over?
Yes, that is often the best time. We book our visit for the day before or the morning of the handover, so the buyer, the tenant or the client walks into a clean space ready to move into.
